Saturday night's rain caused postponements for both the 8u Team 2031 and the 9u Team 2030 because of poor field conditions remaining Sunday morning.  Both of those teams are scheduled to be back in action on May 2.  However, the rest of our Bulldogs teams got their games in.

The 10u Team 2029 saw their coaches and parent volunteers put in some serious work on the field at Bonnie Brae in order to get their games against the Arlington Storm.  The efforts and the delayed start time were worth it as the Bulldogs swept the double header.  Tommy led the offense with 6 hits over the two games, he was 3 for 3 in game one and was joined by a number of teammates with 3 hits each in a 22 hit barrage in the second game.

The 11u Team 2028 dropped a pair of tight games, falling due to late rallies by the Mount Vernon Patriots in both match ups.  The bats were working for the Bulldogs who wracked up 22 hits over the two games.  The barrage was led by Billy who tallied 4 hits and 3 runs scored on the day.  He was joined by 4 separate teammates who all had multiple hit games in game two.

The hit parade was apparently contagious as the 12u Team 2027 smacked a total of 26 hits over their two games against the Chantilly Chargers.  The biggest hit came in game one when Landon hit his second home run of the year.  Unfortunately Team 2027 would fall to a late rally by the Chargers in that one.  They answered with a late rally of their own to claim game two however.  Luke & Jayden recorded RBI hits in the 4th inning to put the Bulldogs out in front for good.

The 13u Team 2026 group put up two W's today, posting 23 runs on 18 hits over their two games.  The Bulldogs were led on the mound in game one by Alex who gave up only 2 runs while recording 5 strike outs over 4 innings of work.  Game two featured both Nick & Nicholas tossing 3 strong innings each giving up 4 runs and striking out 5 combined.   The offense saw triples by Connor and Nick as well.

The 14u Team 2025 started the weekend off on Saturday falling just short in a low scoring affair against the NOVA Premier Blue team 3 to 1.  Team 2025 was led by strong pitching performances by Leo & Drew who threw 3 innings while only giving up 1 earned run between them.
